Mini Mambas

The Mini Mambas is a Touch Football Programme, designed to teach kids the fundamental skills required to play team sports, follow direction and keep their mind & bodies active. Although the primary coaching will be in Touch Football, much, if not all of what they learn will be applicable in many other aspects of life.

The sessions will be held in Browns Bay on the North Shore. The inaugural season (2023/24) will be targeted at 4-10 year olds, with the age range growing each year, as our kids grow. As they grow, the programme will grow with them.

Sessions will be 45 minutes long, once a week, for 16 weeks. split either side of the Year End School Holiday break.

Sessions will be run by a committed group of support staff. The target is a "maximum" of 6 kids per coach, with help from a number assistants... not to mention the spirit skwod. This not only provides a small enough group for the coaches to focus on individuals, but it also lessens the potential for our kids to feel overwhelmed and lose interest or worse, not enjoy themselves. 

The cost for the season will be $20-30, depending on how many children join from a single family.
